The 3-day desert tour from Ouarzazate to Fes testimonials!
Great trip from Ourzazate:
We left from Ouarzazate accompanied by Hassan, our superb guide! All comfort (4×4 very clean) until Merzouga where we were subjugated by the wonderful dunes of Erg Chebi.
We enjoyed a long camel ride in the heart of the dunes. The weather was great and we had an unforgettable sunset!
Then we were welcomed in the tents at the edge of the dunes. Excellent organization as well on the schedules as on the quality of the services (excellent meal, very comfortable bed, etc.).
We still enjoyed the sunrise and a camel ride back with Mohammed (The camel driver).
The night in the desert was magical!:
The trip in the desert was incredible, breathtakingly beautiful and the night in the Berber tents was an experience in itself! Well, the weather changed 3 times during the night so the night was short but that’s also the magic of the Sahara.
The team of Unique Desert Tour is young, from the area, and is very dynamic, I really recommend them, they were great. Ali is an extremely generous person, he welcomed me in his family and even proposed me to come to his neighbor’s wedding.
Great services!:
I took part in this tour with my six-year-old child. It was not a long trip because it departed from Ouarzazate, both parents and children enjoyed it and were overwhelmed by the beauty of the desert. At first, we thought we would go to the Zagora Desert, which is a little closer, but we are glad we decided to take this tour. If there is a next time, I would like to enjoy the desert a little more slowly! Thank you very much!
Talented team:
everything is really right here! via e-mail, I could clarify all questions in advance and had a great feeling. this was reinforced by the authentic, friendly guides. It was tried to integrate everyone into the group, they also speak several languages. The camp was great furnished and decorated, at dinner and breakfast the morning after lacks nothing! also for entertainment and activities is provided by music, dancing, sand boarding, stargazing and watching sunrise and sunset!

3-day desert tour from Ouarzazate to Fes highlights overview
Ouarzazate:
Our 3-day tour from Ouarzazate to Fes begins in Ouarzazate. When the first signs of the vast Sahara begin to appear, this is the gateway to the desert.
The Atlas Studios, which have attracted tens of thousands of tourists over the last two decades, are well-known in this lovely city.
There were scenes from Gladiator, Cleopatra, Alexander, and Game of Thrones filmed there. Not to mention that the location was used to film episodes of the TV program Prison Break.
This city is surely one of the most popular destinations for tourists who come to visit Morocco to discover new things and a new lifestyle.
Rissani Souk:
Rissani is an optional stop on Unique Desert Tour’s Morocco desert tour. It is the site of the first souk, or market, in the desert.
The latter is divided into four parts, the first of which is where you may purchase spices. Caravans from the south of Morocco used to carry spices from India to sell in the south, and they regularly stopped at Rissani’s Souk to exchange dates for their spices. That is to say, the majority of what you will discover there is from the African countries of South Morocco.
The second part is where you can buy and sell meat, fish, and other items.
Particularly fascinating is the last part of the Souk, known as the Donkeys, Sheep, and Cow Festival.
Merzouga, the Sahara desert:
Merzouga is without a doubt the highlight of the three-day journey from Ouarzazate to Fes. Riding camels, driving quad bikes, and camping in the middle of the desert are all popular activities for visitors. Because we are the leading travel operator in Morocco and Merzouga, we are experts in desert trips.
Erg Chebbi is a huge desert sand dune near Merzouga. The dunes in the well-known Lala Merzouga may exceed 150 meters in height. With a view of the city and Dayet Srij Lake, you may enjoy a beautiful sunset or sunrise.
Hundreds of tourists visit Merzouga each year to uncover its hidden gems. When visiting Morocco, camel rides are a must-do activity.
The cultural city of Fes:
Fes was built on the banks of the Wadi Fès by Idrs I (east bank, around 789) and Idrs II (west bank, around 789) and is the oldest of Morocco’s four imperial capitals (west bank, about 809). The Almoravids unified the two sections in the 11th century to form a great Islamic capital. Under the Marnids, Fes reached its pinnacle as a center of scholarship and trade in the mid-14th century, and it has maintained its religious dominance throughout the years. The Treaty of Fes created the French protectorate in Morocco on March 30, 1912.
